The governor’s office announced Wednesday, Jan. 5, that its 2022 Business Licenses & Permits Guide is now available, saying, “This resource is a great tool for anyone interested in starting a business in the state of Texas.”
The guide, available in a downloadable PDF, offers information on licenses and permits that may be required for more than 300 business types, including direct links to the appropriate state resources to address permitting needs.
“We also encourage you to utilize the License & Permit Tracker template to safely store your federal, state and local business license and permit information and know when they are due for renewal,” the office noted in its press release. A PDF copy of the template is available online at https://gov.texas.gov/uploads/files/business/Record_of_Licenses_and_Permits.pdf.
Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the guide or how to start your business in the Lone Star State.
