Number of candidates with serious criminal cases doubling every 5 years in Goa: ADR

An analysis by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) reveals that Goa has witnessed the number of candidates with serious criminal cases doubling every five years from two in 2007 to four in 2012 to eight in 2017 to now 18 in 2022.

Delhi reports 1,114 new Covid-19 cases, daily positivity rate at 2.28%

The active caseload currently stood at 6,908, according to a bulletin from the city’s health department. On Monday, it was at 7,885 and, on Sunday, it was at 8,869.

Liquor prohibition: Nitish calls for greater surveillance through drones, boats

Vaccine for teens: Nearly 6 crore youths from 15-18 yrs got first shot

“Congratulations to youth power. More than 5 crore youth in the age group of 15-18 got the first dose of the vaccine. Young India is fighting the pandemic with full vigour. Great going, my young friends!” Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted.
