The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced the addition of Mariah Anderson to its team. Anderson will serve as a part-time administrative assistant for the Chamber.

Anderson is originally from the Starbuck area. She is a graduate of Minnewaska Area High School and of Alexandria Technical and Community College where she earned a degree in exercise science. She recently relocated to the Alexandria area to launch a career as a realtor focusing on rental properties.

Voyager Industries, Inc., located in Brandon, has recently hired Kurt Battles as its chief financial officer and Kurt Hendrickson as its manager.
Battles will succeed Jon Boutain, who has announced his intention to retire. Boutain will stay on as the company secretary to ensure an orderly transition.
