The nonprofit Ellis County Women in Business, which supports young women in a variety of ways. Eighty-percent of fundraising goes toward livestock purchases from the student participants at the annual Ellis County Youth Expo, with the other 20% going toward end-of-year scholarships. The Ellis County Youth Expo wrapped up its annual show Saturday, April 2, with its annual sale of champions, reserve champions and additional livestock that qualified. A barbecue luncheon was held prior to the sale, which kicked off at noon.
