CHAMPION — The 80th anniversary of Pearl Harbor will be marked locally at the fifth annual Pearl Harbor and Beyond ceremony Tuesday at the administration building at Kent State University at Trumbull.
The ceremony, co-sponsored by the Tribune Chronicle, has the theme of “Never Forget.” Tickets are free, but the audience will be limited to 125 people because of COVID-19 restrictions. Masks are required per KSU protocol.

A collection will be taken for the USO. Accepted items include mittens, gloves, hats, socks, deodorant, snacks, nonperishable items, shampoo, sunscreen, travel sizes of various items, stocking stuffers for military kids such as small toys, puzzles, books and crayons, hot cocoa packets and mini marshmallows, coffee and tea in various flavors, cookie mix pouches or boxes, hand warmers and foot warmers.
